Celebrating the relaxed beauty of the candid, Kirsten Van Mourick's painting is a far cry from the traditional, stuffy portraits you might be familiar with. She uncovers the unique luminosity in each subject, and revels in the holiness of the mundane. Her aim is to create paintings that speaks truth and joy. Kirsten received her undergraduate degree in Studio Art at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, and her Masters of Fine Art in painting at Laguna College of Art and Design in 2013. She currently works from her studio at her home in San Clemente, California.
